Speaking of birthdays, yesterday was the 20th birthday / anniversary of the comic book "Scud: The Disposable Assassin". Creator and 'Mountain Dew guy' Rob Schrab asked his fans to post fan art birthday cards for Scud. Rather than creating a new piece of fan art, I created a cover version of the orignal "Scud Rap" from the Sega Saturn 1997 video game. I then took a whole lot of Scud fan art I did in the 90's and made a image gallery music video and put it on YouTube. Then, I posted all that old fan art to my Scud fan art galley on my Deviant Art page.

Thanks to the MarsCon Concom chipping in by covering the hotel room for Dr. Demento, the goal amount of the MarsCon 2014 Dementia Track Fund Raiser has been dropped down to $1,000! That means we are currently 70% towards our goal! Let's keep the ball rolling towards our thousand clams by spreading the word about the Fund Raiser, and if you can afford it, please consider picking up the 2014 Fund Raiser album. "DEMENTIA RADIO" SEEKS COMMITTED VOLUNTEERS FOR ROOM PARTY
The folks of Dementia Radio .org are considering doing another room party celebrating their station, it's DJs, and the comedy music it plays. However, they are not going to be able to do it without volunteers to help for a couple of hours each at the party.
Nate Boi, the guy in charge of the potential party, said this regarding volunteering: "When I say "help for a couple of hours", that's pretty much what I mean. Just be in the room for two to three hours, check IDs, hand out drinks, and generally make sure no one's doing anything stupid. I don't need a *lot* of stuff from you. But I do need you to commit and show up."
