“Blasted Bill and Moonbeam’s Pod Of Destiny” did their first video PodCast earlier this year. It featured a time plot, a green screen, and a tiny net. Here are links to watch it on YouTube: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 (Each part is 10 minutes long, so if you’re pressed for time, just watch Part 3, that’s the most important part).  It ended with a gauntlet thrown in the faces of Luke Ski and Carrie Dahlby to create a video PodCast that would top theirs. So Carrie and I are brought the fight to their turf, and world premiered the first ever video installment of our PodCast “Luke & Carrie’s Bad Rapport” at PenguiCon in Detroit on May 1st, 2010.

Due to how YouTube works, we had to keep the episode to under 10 minutes, so we managed to do an encapsulated version of our PodCast complete with four comedy music tracks, News of The Stupid, and many of the regular segments you tolerate so much. So Carrie and I are bringing the fight to their turf, and world premiering the first ever video installment of our PodCast “Luke & Carrie’s Bad Rapport” at PenguiCon in Detroit this weekend. Carrie Dahlby has a concert in the music room (Niles I/II) on Saturday which starts at 2:00 pm. At approximately 2:30 pm during her concert set, we will show the 10 minute episode, and thoroughly destroy BB&MPOD with our sheer awesomeness. This is not to be missed, people. It’s Luke & Moonbeam & Carrie & Blasted Bill’s Bad Pod Rapport Of Destiny, Episode 2, our Post-MarsCon 2010 Wrap-up Report! Recorded Sunday night March 7th in Nate Boi’s hotel room after all of MarsCon 2010’s activities had come to an end. We had a room full of friends & artists, including Brendan from Nuclear Bubble Wrap, Chris Mezzolesta of Power Salad, and Insane Ian who didn’t say anything during the whole episode. • Reminders:

Luke Ski here. When I was a lad, I had a Commodore 128 plus, for which I bought and played many floppy disc video games. One of them was "The Three Stooges", a series of mini games where you raise money to save an orphanage. In one of the mini-games, you could be Moe and slap around Larry and Curly like they do in the classic short films. As the years went on, and game franchises like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, the Marvel vs. Capcom crossovers, and the like grew in popularity and technical refinement, I always felt that there needed to be a current-tech follow up to that old mini-game, taken to it’s logical extremes. So I wrote this sketch with help from Devo, ShoEboX, and Chris in the hopes to kick-start it into its existence. So come on Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony! What are you waiting for? We already have an awesome butt-kickin’, eye-pokin’, face-slappin’ techno theme song for you by Alchav of Soggy Potato Chips, so get to it!

My favorite website that I go to for laughs, besides the FuMP of course, is Cake Wrecks dot com, the blog devoted to professional cakes gone horribly, hilariously wrong. The popular site created by Jen Yates recently spawned a hardcover book of the same name which made the New York Times best seller list! Inspired by that site and another cake-related viral internet hit, I have written a parody of the song “Cooking By The Book” from the kid’s show “Lazy Town”, complete with the YouTube Li’l Jon NSFW Remix ending, with rap lyrics written and performed by the great Luke Ski! On the song, we also have appearances by the other 3 members of Cirque du So What?, ShoEboX of “Worm Quartet”, Chris Mezzolesta of “Power Salad”, Devo Spice, as well as Wyngarde from “The Nick Atoms”! And as if that isn’t enough, we’ve also produced a full MUSIC VIDEO to go with it! Continuing in my career long quest to have a song on every major topic in the many worlds of geeky fandom, I bring you my tribute to the entire genre of Japanese Animation, more commonly known here in the states as “Anime”. This parody of “Candyman” By Christina Aguilera sung by Carrie Dahlby covers everything to the kiddie programs, to the giant robot shows, to the teen melodramas, to the ‘adult’ stuff. With any luck, there will be at least a dozen AMVs posted on YouTube of this song within a month.
