Since 2010, 'the great Luke Ski' has been spending an inordinate amount of his spare time making puppet versions of his comedy music colleagues from the Funny Music Project (the FuMP .com), filming videos with them, and posting them on YouTube. Now, the first batch of these videos is available here on this DVD, "Luke Ski's Puppet Videos: Volume 1"! It has the first 3 video episodes of the podcast Luke does with Carrie Dahlby, "Luke & Carrie's Bad Rapport", as well as the epic opening ceremonies video from MarsCon 2013, "The FuMPet Show", a parody tribute to Jim Henson's classic Muppet Show!
"What A Ripoff! Volume 3" continues in the tradition of Volumes 1 and 2, wherein Luke attempts to get his hands on more money from his fans so he can buy silly souveniers at Disney World. This album is made up of tracks Luke Ski has written and/or produced and/or recorded over the past few years that did not end up on "Be Amused By Me" or his previous few albums. It features appearances by Carrie Dahlby, Power Salad, Worm Quartet, Rob Balder, Scooter Picnic, and a track with almost everybody from the FuMP! There's also a parody of a Luke Ski song by Ridikulus, and Luke's contribution to the recent "Weird Al" tribute album! Plus more spoken word bits, sketches, commercials, narration, and "Explained Outtakes Part 3"! The album has been described as an 'album' by Luke just now.
It's the great Luke Ski's 10th full length comedy music album, "Be Amused By Me". Whether that title is a request or a demand has yet to be determined. What we are sure of is that this CD contains songs about Disney Buying Marvel, Chuck, The Big Bang Theory, Kevin Smith movies, Mel Brooks, Monty Python, Anime, Bruce Campbell, Serenity, Red Dwarf, his 3rd holiday fandom opus "It's A Fanboy Christmas 3", and "Snoopy The Dogg", the most requested song of the year thus far on both "The Dr. Demento Show" and "The Mad Music Dementia Top 20". Featuring Carrie Dahlby, Devo Spice, Insane Ian, Flat 29, TV's Kyle, and many other friends from the FuMP, it's an album Carrie Dahlby said to me is "probably your best CD since Unconventional". Who am I to argue?
A collection of Luke Ski's greatest hits on albums no longer available, with all-new remakes of two classic tracks.
"What A Ripoff! Volume 2" continues in the tradition of Volume 1, wherein Luke attempts to get his hands on more money from his fans so he can pay off the cost of his wedding. This album is made up of tracks Luke Ski has produced over the past few years that did not end up on either "Target: Audience" or "Too Much Stuff", some of which have never been heard anywhere before. It also has cover versions and parodies of Luke Ski tracks by Tom Smith, Steve Goodie, Devo Spice, as well as cameos by Carrie Dahlby, Worm Quartet, Insane Ian, Soggy Potato Chips, and many other FuMPers (see "Explained Outtakes Part 2"). There's also a couple of spoken word tracks, including the infamous original version of "True Tales Of Ignorance From The Caricature Stand". The album has been described by Ken "Madman on the Loose" Sherlock as, quote, "worth getting".
Do you have too much stuff? No, I don't mean all those boxes and bags full of comic books and action figures that are stacked up within six feet of your computer. I'm talking about the 9th full-length comedy album by the great Luke Ski, "Too Much Stuff." Not only does it have the title track which is one of the most popular songs of 2009 on the Dr. Demento Show, but it also has tracks about the new Star Trek movie, Lost, horror movie icons (Freddy, Jason, Chucky, etc.), the Transformers, tributes to Tom Lehrer, the Wisconsin Dells, and Stephen Colbert, and much more. Featuring appearances by Carrie Dahlby, Insane Ian, Devo Spice and Tom Smith. Buy this album so you too can have Too Much Stuff!
"What A Ripoff! Volume 1" is a CD specifically designed by Luke Ski to get his hands on your money. This album is made up of tracks Luke Ski has produced over the past few years that did not end up on either "unCONVENTIONal" or "BACONspiracy", but were available elsewhere. Besides the narration by Luke, the only new track is "Explained Outtakes", which features over 15 minutes of outtakes from various tracks by Luke and his demented colleagues.
So who would win in a fight, Keifer Sutherland, or a funky surrealist robot assassin from the future? Tough call. Guess you'll have to set your sights on the great Luke Ski's 8th full length album "TARGET: AUDIENCE"! And yes, on some of these tracks, Luke does have an audience, recently recorded at his first spoken word show, spinning some funny anecdotes of life on the con scene, on the internet, and at the caricature stand [some of which contain explicit words or adult themes]. Besides "Jack Bauer" vs. "Scud" the Disposable Assassin, you can get your comedy music meta geek on with tracks like "Everybody Get Weird (an Art Paul Schlosser Remix)", "FuMP-In!", and Luke Ski's cover of "The Chainsaw Juggler" featuring cameos by 18 DEMENTIA ACTS! Carrie Dahbly returns on many tracks, and lest we forget the likes of Project Sisyphus, Spaff, Power Salad, Possible Oscar, and Rob Balder as the ultimate World of Warcraft n00b! Not nerdy enough? Let's throw in some song parody tributes to "Heroes", "Babylon 5" and "Battlestar Galactica!" Well what the frak are you waiting for? Order "TARGET: AUDIENCE" today!
The truth is out there. Actually the truth is in there. In your refrigerator, in your frying pan, in your burner, in your mouth, in your small intestines... it's the "BACONspiracy!" You too can learn the truth of how bacon controls your life, as well as hear comedy song tributes to "Doctor Who", "Family Guy", "Pirates of the Caribbean", and more! Listen aghast to Luke Ski's collaborations with nerdcore rap star MC Lars, the almighty pop-culture jugger-bot Wyngarde, not to mention co-conspirators such as Carrie Dahlby, The Gothsicles, Worm Quartet, Possible Oscar, Rob Balder, and more dementia artist cameos than are allowed by federal law! And look out behind you, because here comes the long awaited sequel to one of Luke Ski's most popular tracks, "It's A Fanboy Christmas II: The Wrath Of Claus"! So fire up your George Foreman grill, put on your tin foil hat, and get hip to the "BACONspiracy", Luke Ski's 7th full length album!
The 6th album by 'the great Luke Ski' features such nerdy hits as "Vader Boy", "Grease Wars", "A Man Named Jayne", "Geeks of the Industry", "Sex Kittens From Mars", "Star Wars Prequel Homesick Blues", "The Spongy Dance", and more! Special guest appearances by Worm Quartet and the Nick Atoms!
It's Luke Ski's first DVD! It has just under 3 HOURS of content, featuring everything and everyone listed below, as well as cameos by Grant Baciocco (of Throwing Toasters & The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd), Art Paul Schlosser, Possible Oscar, Consortium Of Genius, Power Salad, Eric Coleman, the Gothsicles & Dean Haglund, and movie trailers for "The Dork of the Rings", "Mondo Collecto", "Mystery Spatula Theatre 11", & "Stupid Teenagers Must Die!". The 5th album by 'the great Luke Ski' features his Eminem / Lord of the Rings parody "Stealing Like A Hobbit", which was the #1 most requested song of 2003 on "the Dr. Demento Show". Featuring Hot Waffles and the Nick Atoms, and songs by Sudden Death, Tom Smith, Power Salad, and Ookla The Mok.
"Uber Geek" is the long awaited 4th album by "the great Luke Ski", one of the young stars of "The Dr. Demento Show". This album, full of parodies of rap and pop music, pokes fun at various aspects of fandom, a subject which Luke knows quite a lot about.
The 3rd full-length album by "the great Luke Ski". He has included 7 'Best-of Luke Ski' tracks on this album, the most popular tracks from his first 2 CDs ("Fanboys 'n da Hood" and "Shadows of the Bunghole"), which are now out of print.
22 tracks of madness - A compilation of songs from Luke Ski's first two albums ("Fanboys 'n da Hood" and "Shadows of the Bunghole"), which are now out of print.
